Project Description:
The Larose to Golden Meadow Hurricane Protection Levees are designed to protect the area from Larose to south of Golden Meadow, LA from category two (2) hurricanes. The B-South Reach provides this protection on the west side of Bayou Lafourche with approximately 1 mile of levees. Pump Station #1 separates this reach and the A-West Reach to the south.
